BMCoCo-Pi 0.1.0rc3 · Linux console and model downloads; Windows planned.

Downloads: BMCoCo-Pi 0.1.0rc3

This is an early Linux release candidate. Model packages contain boot files and offline user guides; they are not raw .img files. System ROMs and games are not included. Your GitHub account or access to private repositories is not needed. Back up the destination card before fresh installation.

Linux setup

BMCoCoPiSetup-0.1.0rc3-console.pyz · BMCoCoPiSetup-0.1.0rc3-console.pyz.sha256

The guided console requires Python 3.10+ and standard Linux disk/privilege tools. Debian 13 and Ubuntu 22.04 checks passed. It is not a static binary; the old frozen GUI is not distributed. Follow Linux setup. Windows setup is planned and no Windows executable is available yet.

Model Download and SHA-256 Validation
Pi 400 BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi400.zip · BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi400.zip.sha256 Earlier hardware development; this model package not freshly boot-tested
Pi 4 Model B BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi4.zip · BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi4.zip.sha256 Shared-family compatibility expected; not physically validated
Pi 500 BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi500.zip · BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi500.zip.sha256 Console fresh-card installation and boot confirmed
Pi 5 BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi5.zip · BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-rpi5.zip.sha256 Shared-family compatibility expected; not physically validated

Pi 3B+ is not included in this release. Do not substitute another model's ZIP. Pi4/Pi5 support is based on the corresponding tested hardware families; that is not a claim of testing on those exact boards.

Source and licenses

BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-sources.tar.gz · BMCoCo-Pi-0.1.0rc3-sources.tar.gz.sha256

Original project code is GNU GPL version 3. The source archive includes the selected engineering revisions, setup code, pinned dependencies, build entry point and retained third-party licenses. Both kernel families were rebuilt from exported sources without private Git access; byte-identical reproduction is not claimed. Model ZIPs also contain component notices. Supply your own system ROMs.

Verify each downloaded file with its published SHA-256 before installation. A checksum detects a mismatch; it is not a digital publisher signature.
