Cartridge attract mode
Manually start under Guest & machine → Cartridge attract mode in the Web
UI or F12 → Cartridge attract mode in the OSD. It never starts on idle/boot.
Supply compatible raw game carts in one flat folder below bmcoco/carts/,
normally bmcoco/carts/attract. No games are included in installer/bundle.
Use CoCo1/2 NTSC composite with artifact rendering for games that need artifact colors. CoCo3 RGB is a separate choice. Select the intended machine/RAM/folder/ type before starting. Auto uses ROM through16KiB and GMC above16KiB; explicitly choose GMC for16KiB GMC images. Banking compatibility needs per-title checks.
Start confirms reset/lost unsaved work and clears disk/tape/MPI/MOOH/remote media, keeping the current CoCo machine/video/controllers. Default180seconds; 30/60/120/180/300/600 supported,128candidates/512entries, no recursion or immediate repeat with multiple titles. No generic MC-10 game-cart rotation.
Return to BASIC
Stop rotation keeps the current game. Reset guest also retains its cartridge, so it starts that game again. To leave it, open Media → Cartridges / MPI / MOOH, select Cartridge, then Eject and confirm reset. This removes the live attachment, not the ROM file or saved/startup profiles. In the OSD, select no cartridge in configuration and Review/Apply. Stop does not restore RAM.
Physical input stops rotation and can reach the game; F12 stops and pauses in the OSD. Release held controls before resuming. The display stays awake while rotating; its saved setting remains. Pause heavy SD work. Load failures stop rotation; a late reconstruction failure can leave the guest unavailable.
